Weavers of worlds – A Century of Flux in Japanese Modern/Contemporary Art –

From March 29 (Sat) through June 16 (Sun), Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo will present an exhibition Weavers of Worlds – A Century of Flux in Japanese Modern/Contemporary Art. This exhibition will survey the Japanese art of the past 100 years, from the 1910s to 2010s, through works mainly in the museum’s collection.

Dates: March 29 (Sat) through June 16 (Sun), 2019
Hours: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
Closed: Mondays (if Monday is a national holiday, closed on the following day)
Venue: Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo
Admission: General 1,300 yen; Students 900 yen (university) or 600 yen (high school and and junior high), Free (Elementary and under)

2019年3月29日（金）から6月16日（日）まで、東京都現代美術館にてリニューアル・オープン記念展「百年の編み手たち－流動する日本の近現代美術－」に参加いたします。1910年代から現在までの百年にわたる日本の美術について、編集的な視点で新旧の表現を捉えて独自の創作を展開した編み手である作家たちの実践として東京都現代美術館のコレクションを核に再考するものです。
