Isozaki Arata will participate in the exhibition “Beautiful Utopia: The Modern Japanese Who Dreamed of an Ideal World”, held at the Panasonic Shiodome Museum of Art from January 15 to March 22, 2026. This exhibition will explore the Japanese people’s search for more beautiful lifestyles in the 20th century to achieve utopia, as well as the aesthetic preferences of those who influenced the direction of this search. By examining how those in the past envisioned the world to come, the exhibition will also present a way to conceptualize utopia today.
