We are pleased to announce Isozaki Arata’s first domestic posthumous retrospective exhibition Archipelagos of Architecture, which will be held at Isozaki’s self-designed Art Tower Mito from Saturday, November 1, 2025 to Sunday, January 25, 2026. Isozaki’s career of more than 60 years was not confined to just architecture projects and urban planning, but also in various fields such as publishing literary works, collaborations with artists and intellectuals, and curatorial work. The exhibition presents his illustrious career from a bird’s-eye view through architectural models, drawings, sketches, installations, photographs, prints, watercolor paintings, and more.
