Ai Weiwei released on bail

On Wednesday night, June 22 at 22:15 Beijing time, the state news agency, Xinhua produced a statement that Ai Weiwei had been released on bail. His staff was able to talk to him from New York and Ai told him that he was at his home in Caochangdi with his family and was happy to be home.


AI Weiwei: Circle of Animals/Zodiac Heads

AI Weiwei’s first major public sculpture project,“Circle of Animals/Zodiac Heads” is exhibited until July 15, 2011 at the Pulitzer Fountain, Central Park in New York and is exhibited simultaneously at the Sommerset House in London until June 30, 2011.
